My takeaways from the bygone year

In corporate offices, before every financial year ends, everyone does a 360 degree yearend review/feedback to reflect on the past learnings and mistakes. I did the same, only I reviewed by personal life, the highs and the lows, the hits and the misses. When I jotted down the same I noticed how each day and each month has been a total roller-coaster making it no less than a humbling experience wherein you smile a while, cry a while, sway away with the winds, fall and then get up again with no hope of what would happen next, no assurance on outcome. But apart from the experience this year gave, here are my learnings from 2025 which can be key takeaways for all like be grateful for every breath you take because while you crib for what didn’t work out, there is someone who is still fighting for the life you have. Further, what’s meant for you will find its way always.

It will cross oceans, seven heavens and everything in between to reach you. Third takeaway is prayers do work. When nothing works faith does. Faith is the foundation to reach peaks of all mountains of circumstances. Don’t leave your belief system, on whoever or whatever you trust to be it God, your mentor, anyone for that case. Prayers make the impossible possible. The fourth one is do not crib for things that do not work, opportunities that were missed skipped. Just keep showing up daily by working, smiling and things that lift your aura. The moment you smile the energy changes and things flow your way. Consistency is key to success in every arena of life be it career, fitness, health, the efforts compound into big wins. Fifth is that the intent behind every action shapes how beautiful the experience and impact would be. For example, the same two people cook the same meal with the same recipe.

One cooks with the intent of obligation and the other with care and concern. Same recipe, same taste but the physical and emotional impact will be different. So just ensure your intent behind every task, act or for that case intent even at a thought level is pure because what you do definitely matters, but why you do it matters even more! So in 2026, even if things don’t work out the way you wanted them to, remember the takeaways from 2025 and stay assured that things will eventually work in your favour, if you stay committed.
