MUNICIPAL Commissioner Ram
Prakash Ahirwar has issued clear
instructions to senior officials to
ensure timely and effective resolution of public grievances and
basic civic issues. While chairing
weekly review meeting, he said any
negligence in public service delivery will not be tolerated.
He stressed
the need to improve governance
and ensuring citizen satisfaction.
Reviewing pending cases on CM
Helpline, the Municipal
Commissioner directed officials to
resolve each complaint to the satisfaction of the complainant. He
asked officers to take direct feedback from applicants and confirm
that issues have been timely
addressed before closing cases.
To improve public safety, Ahirwar
ordered the identification of dark
and poorly lit areas across the city.
He said all such black spots must
be illuminated at the earliest. New
streetlights will be installed at identified locations, while non-functional lights will be repaired on
priority.
Taking a note of water wastage
due to pipeline leakages, the
Municipal Commissioner instructed the Executive Engineers to
launch a special repair drive.
He
said all leakage-related complaints
should be resolved on priority to
ensure uninterrupt ed water supply. Senior officials from various
departments were present during
the review meeting.
