DEMONSTRATING creativity,
technical skill and environmental consciousness, instructors
and trainees of the Welder trade
at the Government Industrial
Training Institute have created
an attractive statue of
Chhattisgarh Mahtari using discarded materials under the concept of “Best Out of Waste”. The
initiative was carried out under
the leadership of Principal
Narendra Upadhyay.
The statue stands as a powerful symbol of innovation and
practical training, reflecting the
trainees’ ability to transform
scrap and waste materials into
meaningful artwork.
Crafted
entirely from discarded items,
the statue conveys messages of
cleanliness, environmental protection, creativity and selfreliance. According to the institute management, the initiative
was undertaken to encourage
creativity, social awareness and
cultural values among trainees,
alongside strengthening their
technical skills. Under the guidance of Welder trade instructors,
the trainees worked with dedication and precision to give
shape to the statue through
hands-on training.
The effort has been widely
appreciated at various levels for
combining skill development
with environmental responsibility. The institute stated that
such initiatives not only highlight
the quality of vocational training but also inspire trainees to
adopt sustainable practices and
move towards self-reliance.
