Rehan Dumbhare, a resident of Mouda, has been diagnosed with Beta Thalassemia Major. The treating doctors at CMC Hospital, Vellore, Tamil Nadu, have suggested bone marrow transplant as only option to treat Rehan. He was diagnosed with the disease when he was 5 months old. On Saturday, Rehan was admitted in a hospital in Dhantoli for sudden neurological issue. His parents are seeking monetary help from the society as they are unable to bear the treatment cost.
