THE 32nd edition of COMP-EX 2026, organised by the Vidarbha Computer & Media Dealers’ Welfare Association (VCMDWA), witnessed an overwhelming response from visitors across all four days, with Sunday recording exceptionally high footfall, highlighting Nagpur’s growing importance as a preferred destination for major technology exhibitions.
Held at St. Ursula Girls High School Ground, Civil Lines, COMP-EX 2026 offered a dynamic and engaging experience for citizens, IT professionals, entrepreneurs, MSMEs, startups, and students from Nagpur and surrounding regions.
The strong turnout reaffirmed the city’s image as a progressive and technology-friendly hub.
A major highlight of this year’s exhibition was the Artificial Intelligence (AI) segment, which attracted significant attention.
The exhibition also created strong digital engagement through initiatives such as Orange City AI Photography, with curated reel compilations receiving an excellent response on social media platforms, especially among youth audiences.
The gaming competitions received over 500 entries, reflecting strong youth participation and growing interest in competitive gaming and digital entertainment. In addition, the sports and interactive engagement activities witnessed enthusiastic participation, with over 500 entries received during the expo.
The prize distribution ceremony for these activities was conducted by Shravan Hardikar, Managing Director, Maha Metro, encouraging youth participation and competitive spirit.
During the prize distribution function, also present were Dr Vipin Itankar, Collector, Nagpur District, who is also Vice Chairman and Managing Director of MADC, and Pyare Khan, Chairman, Maharashtra Minorities Commission.
Overall, COMP-EX 2026 delivered a holistic technology experience combining innovation, AI adoption and strong community participation.
