THE Board examination of Class
XII, conducted under Madhya
Pradesh Board of Secondary
Education (MPBSE) will start from
February 10. According to District
Education Officer Ghanshyam
Soni, the examination period will
extend till March 7, encompassing a wide array of academic and
vocational streams.
All theory papers are scheduled
for the morning shift, specifically from 9 am to 12 Noon. In a move
to ensure administrative discipline, the Board has mandated
that all students report to their
respective centres by 8 am. Entry
into the examination hall will be
given by 8.30 am, and strictly no
candidates will be admitted if
they arrive more than 15 minutes
after the 9 am start time. The
Class XII students will appear for
English language paper on
February 10. This year, a total of
18,640 students will appear for
Class XII from 100 exam centres.
Concurrent with the theory
papers, practical exams for both
regular and private candidates
will be facilitated at assigned centres. These are slated to held
between February 10 and March
10. Authorities have confirmed
that even in the event of an
unforeseen public holiday, the
exam schedule will remain
unchanged unless otherwise
notified by the Government.
Earlier, Collector Raghavendra
Singh ordered to constitute Flying
Squads. These squads have been
established at the divisional, district and block levels to prevent
the use of unfair means during
the testing process. Each squad
comprises three to four specialised officials and staff members. Singh has issued directives
requiring the heads of these flying squads to submit comprehensive daily inspection reports
to District Education Officer’s
office to ensure continuous oversight and transparency
