RAIPUR police conducted a comprehensive meeting with over 300 operators of hotels, bars, clubs, dhabas and restaurants on Monday evening at Civil Lines C-4 building, issuing stringent directives to strengthen law and order, curb illegal activities and ensure public safety across hospitality establishments. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime and Cyber) chaired the meeting attended by Additional DCP Gaurav Mandal, Additional DCP Anuj Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police Sanjay Singh, Inspector Sachin Singh and Sub-Inspector Atulesh Rai. The session aimed at addressing practical challenges faced by the hospitality industry while enforcing regulatory compliance. Police officials issued 26 specific directives including mandatory police verification of all staff members, installation of high-quality CCTV cameras covering both street directions with minimum 30-day backup storage, and cameras in parking and outer areas.

Operators were instructed to immediately verify customer mobile numbers, record photographs, mode of arrival and vehicle registration details during check-in. According to the directives, establishments must photograph guests wearing masks after removing them, prevent document misuse during room allotment, and prohibit party bookings in single rooms. Illegal alcohol consumption faces complete ban. Any suspicious or illegal activity must be reported to police immediately. Night party regulations mandate closure of all establishments by midnight, DJ music banned after 10 pm, and no party organization post midnight without prior permission. Minor entry and room bookings remain strictly prohibited. Narcotics and other intoxicants face absolute prohibition. Police advised against organizing free drinks, free entry and ladies night parties.

Foreign nationals must complete Form-C documentation. Special events require FL-5 license with separate entry-exit points to prevent stampeding. Fire safety systems require regular inspection. Parking on roads outside establishments remains prohibited to maintain traffic flow. Security guards and bouncers require mandatory police verification with lists submitted to ACCU office. All operators must maintain contact numbers of concerned police station in-charge and ACCU beat in-charge. Guest registers must contain complete details with documents preserved for minimum one year.
