On The occasion of the Consumer Awareness Bharat Yatra’s visit to Nagpur, the BIS Nagpur Branch Office organised a collaborative meeting with CCI, which was attended by all officers and staff of BIS Nagpur. The programme began with a warm welcome to Dr Anant Sharma, Founder and National Chairperson, CCI. Hemant B Ade, Director and Head, BIS Nagpur, delivered the welcome address, underscoring the critical role of consumer awareness initiatives in building an informed and vigilant society.

 

Addressing the gathering, Dr Anant Sharma emphasized the objectives and national importance of the Consumer Awareness Bharat Yatra. He elaborated on key provisions of the Consumer Protection Act and sensitized participants about consumer rights and grievance redressal mechanisms.
