The Nagpur Chapter of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) conducted a panel discussion on Union Budget recently at the Nagpur Chapter premises. The programme commenced with a welcome address by CMA Rajat Naidu, Chairman, ICMAI Nagpur Chapter. The distinguished panel comprised CMA Shriram Mahankaliwar, Past Chairman, WIRC, Mumbai; CMA Anil B Verma , Senior Tax Laws Practitioner and Tax Consultant and Dr Aparna Samudra, Assistant Professor, Department of Economics, RTM Nagpur University. The panellists shared valuable insights on key budget provisions, taxation changes, fiscal policy measures, and their impact on industry and the economy. The workshop witnessed the notable presence of CMA P V Bhattad, along with several CMA professionals and students, making the event highly interactive and enriching. CMA Manish Pandey, Secretary, ICMAI Nagpur Chapter, proposed the vote of thanks while CMA Renu Kulkarni moderated the session.
