DEFENCE ammunition manufactured at Ordnance Factory
Khamaria (OFK), Jabalpur has
emerged as a major attraction
for global defence manufacturers and representatives from
various countries at the World
Defence Show (WDS) 2026 held
in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Under the banner of
Munitions India Limited (MIL),
OFK Jabalpur showcased its
advanced and indigenous
defence products at the India
Pavilion, which has been set up
for the first time at this prestigious international defence
exhibition.
The display reflects
India’s growing strength and
self-reliance in defence manufacturing.
The defence ammunition
exhibited by OFK Jabalpur
includes 30 mm BMP
Ammunition, Air Bombs, 84 mm
Ammunition, Multimode Hand
Grenades, Artillery Fuzes and
other critical products. These
exhibits have received significant interest from international defence manufacturers, military officials and industry
experts attending the event.
Earlier, the India Pavilion at
WDS 2026 was inaugurated by
Raksha Rajya Mantri Sanjay
Seth. During his visit to the
Munitions India Limited stall,
the Minister was warmly
received by Sanjay Hazari,
Chairman and Managing
Director, MIL, along with OFK
Jabalpur, Chief General
Managar, ShaileshVagerwal and
other senior officials.

third edition of the World
Defence Show 2026 held on
February 8 and 9. The India
Pavilion, spread over 400 square
metres, also features other
major Indian Defence Public
Sector Undertakings such as
Bharat Electronics Limited
(BEL) and Bharat Dynamics
Limited (BDL).
India’s participation at WDS
2026 aims to showcase the country’s indigenous defence manufacturing capabilities,
strengthen defence ties with
Saudi Arabia, and explore new
avenues for industrial cooperation and global partnerships.
