Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company Limited (MP Transco) will work in close coordination with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL), a Government of India enterprise, to strengthen transmission infrastructure and contribute to nation building. The mutual understanding was reached during a high-level meeting held at Shakti Bhawan, headquarters of the State power companies, in the presence of MP Transco Managing Director Sunil Tiwari and Power Grid’s Chief General Manager and Regional Head (Western Region–2), RK Gupta.

Power Grid’s CGM R K Gupta expressed gratitude for the support extended by MP Transco in facilitating transmission expansion in Madhya Pradesh. He reaffirmed Power Grid’s commitment to completing all ongoing projects within stipulated timelines to enable efficient evacuation of rapidly increasing power generation across the country.
The meeting also included detailed discussions on ongoing transmission works and future expansion plans in the state. Senior officials from MP Transco headquarters attended the meeting, along with Mohammad
Meraj Siddiqui, In-Charge of Power Grid’s Jabalpur Pooling Substation, Manoj Meena, Special Technical Assistant from Power Grid Vadodara, and Sunil Bedekar, Acting In-Charge of the 400 kV Sukha Jabalpur Substation.
