A divisional-level review meeting concerning PM SHRI (Prime Minister Schools for Rising India) scheme was convened at Pt L S Jha Government Model Higher Secondary School on Wednesday. The session was presided over by Manish Verma, Additional Director, Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI), Madhya Pradesh. During the proceedings, Additional Director Verma emphasised that PM SHRI initiative remains a high-priority, ambitious project of the Government, receiving continuous monitoring at the Central level. He articulated several critical mandates for administrators and educators in attendance. As the primary objective of the allocated funding is to ensure that students receive a superior standard of education supported by modern infrastructure. The officials were instructed to utilise allocated funds strictly according to established regulations and within designated timelines.
 
The Additional Director stressed that all developmental works must be executed with total transparency to maintain the integrity of the scheme. He also instructed to ensure that payments are processed before the expiration of budget cycles to prevent the lapsing of funds. The meeting involved a comprehensive analysis of PM SHRI schools across all districts within the Jabalpur division. Mr. Arun Kumar Ingle, Joint Director, formally presented the progress reports for the respective institutions. Joint Director, Jabalpur Division, Arun Kumar Ingler presented the reports of all the schools run in the division. Those who present included DPI Bhopal Representatives including Ravikant Jain (Senior Officer), Sumankant Jain (Programmer), Anil Dixit and Hemant Srivastava. Then, Ghanshyam Soni (District Education Officer, Jabalpur), along with District Education Officers from all divisional districts, Additional District Project Coordinators, Block Education Officers and relevant department personnel also attended the meeting. The event was coordinated and conducted by Dr. DK Khare, Assistant Director.
