The suffocating voices haunt each day
You cannot run, you cannot hide
They will find you anyway.
You are scared but must not show
Maybe it will change you from inside
Alter perspectives as you may not know.
The voices feel huge and dark
They can conquer you easily
But they hold back their barks.
It’s not always you who is the target
You stand still and plant your feet
But still become prey to daily carnage.
The after shocks make you shudder
But doing so snubs the voice
And you stay forever buried,
down under.
