In a significant move to modernize state administration, the Chhattisgarh Government concluded a division-level iGOT Karmayogi training session at the Ambikapur Collector’s Office on Monday.
The program focused on enhancing administrative efficiency and fostering a result-oriented approach within the Surguja Division. The training was organized under the strategic guidance of Surguja Divisional Commissioner Narendra Kumar Dugga (IAS) and local leadership provided by Collector Ajit Vasant (IAS). Technical expertise was delivered by Anju Singh, Under Secretary and Nodal Officer for iGOT, who provided deep insights into the platform’s role-based modules and the practical aspects of digital learning. Avinash Champawat, Secretary of the General Administration Department, detailed the specific guidelines issued for Mission Karmayogi, ensuring all participants understood the result-oriented framework required for the state’s development.
This statewide initiative, spearheaded by Chief Secretary Vikassheel, prioritizes capacity building and the transition toward citizen-centric service delivery through advanced digital governance. By introducing officers to digital platform-based systems and administrative reforms, the government aims to bridge the gap between high-level policy and grassroots execution. This approach ensures that every nodal officer is equipped with the specific competencies needed for their specialized roles, ultimately leading to a more streamlined and responsive administrative framework across all departments.
The program seeks to fundamentally transform the administrative work culture, a goal emphasized by Commissioner Dugga in his address to the participants. He noted that iGOT Karmayogi serves as a catalyst for cultural change, moving toward a more transparent and accountable system that guarantees high-quality service to the public. By fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development, the Chhattisgarh government is taking a definitive step toward making the concept of good governance a tangible reality for the residents of the Surguja Division.
