Villagers of Temari Gram Panchayat in Bemetara district, led Sarpanch Shivmurti Kosle, visited Lok Bhavan Raipur.
Head of Self-help Group Geeta Banjare, other public representatives and members of Self-help Groups and other villagers were present on the occasion.
They were taken on a tour of Chhattisgarh Mandapam, Udanti Parisar, Kanhar Parisar, Dispensary, various branches of the Secretariat and the lush green garden located in the Lok Bhavan premises.
They were also provided detailed information regarding these places.
The villagers also inspected the cannon installed in the complex, which was used during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. After the tour and observation, the villagers expressed their joy after visiting Lok Bhavan.
It may be mentioned that Governor Ramen Deka has adopted Temari Gram Panchayat in Bemetara district.
