Board Exams: 8 cheating cases reported during the high school English paper; 2 caught in Bhopal

The ongoing High School and Higher Secondary examinations conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh (MPBSE), underway across the State on Tuesday. While the High School English paper saw a handful of irregularities, the Higher Secondary examination for Drawing and Design concluded with a pristine record. According to the official, both examinations were held during the morning shift from 9 am to 12 noon. Despite the massive scale of the State-wide exercise, the Board maintained that the process remained peaceful across all centres. The crackdown on malpractices: Vigilance by flying squads and invigilators resulted in the registration of eight cases of unfair means (UFM) during the High School English examination. The Board’s monitoring system identified specific districts where students were caught violating examination protocols: Morena reported 03 cases, Bhopal registered 02 cases and Bhind, Shajapur, Seoni reporter 01 case each.In contrast, the Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination for the Drawing and Design subject saw a nil rate of misconduct, with no cases reported across the State.
Upcoming Schedule: Heavyweight subjects await
students: As the board exams gain momentum, students are
bracing for several core subjects scheduled. On Wednesday, February 18, the Higher Secondary (Class 12) segment will see a major turnout as students appear for a diverse range of papers, including Chemistry (220), History (110), and Business Studies (310). Other specialised vocational papers scheduled for Wednesday include Elements of Science & Maths Useful for Agriculture, Drawing & Painting, and Home Management, Nutrition & Textile. On Thursday, the examination cycle continues with Class 10 students appearing for the Sanskrit (512) paper. Simultaneously, Higher Secondary students will sit for the Psychology (167) examination.
