In recent reforms in order to improve ease of doing business and bring corporate regulatory services closer to business in Vidarbha and Marathawada region, a new office of Registrar of Companies (RoC), Nagpur has been opened by the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India. The new office was inaugurated on Monday. The office of RoC Nagpur will have the territorial jurisdiction over the Vidarbha and Marathwada regions. The charge of newly inaugurated office has been assigned to Deepak Persoya, (ICLS) as Registrar of Companies. Persoya belongs to 2010 batch of ICLS (UPSC Civil Services). He has already been heading the office of Official Liquidator attached to Bombay High Court, Bench at Nagpur. Uday Khomane (ICLS), Deputy Official Liquidator cum Deputy Registrar of Companies, who belongs to 2016 Batch of ICLS (UPSC Civil Services), will be assisting him in the both offices.
