The much-awaited Design Showcase 2026 and Confluence 3.0 (2nd Edition), organised by the Indian Institute of Interior Designers (IIID), Nagpur Regional Chapter, opened here at Chitnavis Centre, Civil Lines, Nagpur on Saturday. Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari inaugurated the event in the presence of IIID National President Ar. Jignesh Modi, Chairperson of IIID Nagpur, Seema Agrawal, with the organising committee, and others.
The mega event will continue till February 23.
The entry for this confluence is free and the registration can be done on the spot. This prestigious event has brought together design practitioners, trade partners, construction industry professionals, renowned architects, artisans, and future architects and interior design students on a single platform, creating a vibrant ecosystem for knowledge exchange, innovation, and collaboration.
The event stands as a flagship initiative of IIID Nagpur, celebrating excellence in design and creativity.
On the occasion, IIID National President Ar. Jignesh Modi said that an advice of professional interior designer helps us to create sustainable projects. “If you wish to make judicious use of your resources and make the projects sustainable, you must avail services of qualified interior designers,” he observed. Modi also said that the absence of entry barriers to the profession of interior designing has encouraged many others to offer their services in designing. “But it is harmful for the clients. In the long run, they will not get the desired goals,” he said.
