IN THE modern, fast-paced digital economy, organisations must adopt a positive mindset, where technology is not viewed merely as an IT tool, but as a strategic enabler to meet evolving customer needs, said Rohit Bansal, Group Head Corporate Brand and Communications, Reliance Industries on Saturday while speaking on the topic ‘Building Adaptive Organisations for Exponential Growth’ at the

CIMCON’26 at IIM, Nagpur campus. He further said that organisations that balance technology through integrating digital tools such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and data analytics will have much higher chance to grow 10X in 10 years. Apart from this, he said, “Those who know AI will replace people who do not.” “Organisations can achieve growth by adopting technology faster and learning continuously rather than replace the human centric experiences customers value the most,” he said.

Bansal also spoke about on how businesses can thrive in an era of constant disruption by cultivating adaptability as a core organisational capability. “Involving employees early and providing training in AI helps ensure that new tools are user-friendly. Organisations that successfully balance these elements see higher customer satisfaction, increased loyalty, and a stronger competitive advantage, he added. Alok Kumar Singh, Prof. IIM, Nagpur moderated the session and proposed a vote of thanks.
