202 lost mobile phones worth Rs 60 lakh recovered

 

 

 

For disposing of complaints relating to the lost mobile phones, the Anti-Crime and Cyber Unit (ACCU), Durg launched a special drive and efforts were made to trace the mobile phones lost between the year 2023 and 2026. Total 202 mobile phones worth Rs 60 lakh lost from Durg, Bhilai, Rajnandgaon, Balod, Bemetara and Raipur regions have been recovered by the police.

 

The lost phones are being distributed to their owners. During the distribution of lost phones to the owners, Senior Superintendent of Police Vijay Agrawal encouraged those present to follow the traffic rules and also administered oath to them to wear helmet while riding two-wheeler. Denizens were also made aware to adopt safe traffic practice.
