Software engineer Mayank Jain, who is serving the Hindi language in the US after moving from Bhilai, has achieved a significant milestone. His organisation, Hindi-USA, has received initial accreditation from ACS-WASC in the United States. Mayank Jain, the current founder and coordinator of Hindi-USA, shared this achievement with the people of Chhattisgarh and Bhilai, stating that this success reflects Hindi-USA’s commitment to academic quality, organisational excellence, and continuous improvement. This has further encouraged them to work with even greater dedication towards Hindi in the US. Mayank Jain, who lives in St. Louis, Missouri, said that his institution, Hindi-USA, has been accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS-WASC), a statutory and authorised organisation in the US.

This accreditation was granted after a comprehensive self-evaluation process and an assessment conducted by the WASC official inspection team. This process evaluated Hindi-USA’s academic structure, (Contd on page 6) teaching methodologies, leadership capabilities, and long-term vision. On this occasion, Elizabeth Oberreiter, a member of the WASC inspection committee, said that Hindi-USA’s curriculum is extremely strong, and the teachers are highly motivated. The most commendable thing is that the students who once studied here are now themselves becoming teachers and giving back their best to society. It needs a mention here that Hindi-USA was founded approximately 25 years ago in New Jersey by Devendra Singh, Rachit Singh, and Raj Mittal.

Currently, thanks to the efforts of Mayank Jain and his wife Anshu Jain, this organization is operating in 29 schools across the US and is one of the largest non-profit Hindi language organizations in the country. As a registered 501(c)(3) organization, Hindi USA provides education to over 4,000 students, with more than 350 volunteer teachers and coordinators actively involved. Operating on a community-based model, Hindi USA is considered today the largest volunteer-based Hindi education organization in the United States, dedicated to promoting the Hindi language, Indian culture, and academic excellence.
