Delegates from 23 countries to converge at ‘Advantage Vidarbha’

FOR the first time in Nagpur, ambassadors and trade representatives from more than 23 countries will participate in the third edition of ‘Advantage Vidarbha 2026 – Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav’, an initiative envisioned by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari aimed at providing an international platform for Vidarbha’s industrial development. The three-day mega industrial expo will be held on February 6 to 8, 2026 at the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University campus, Ambazari–Amravati Road. This was disclosed by Ashish Kale, President of AID, while talking at a press conference on Monday. AID Secretary Dr Vijaykumar Sharma, Sanjay Gupta, Prof. Rajesh Bagdi, Rajesh Rokde, Shivkumar Rao, Ashok Goyal, Mahesh Sadhwani, Anup Khandewar, Rina Sinha and executive members were also present in the meeting.
 
The International Business Conclave will be inaugurated on February 7 at 11 am at the main auditorium. This will be followed by country-focused sessions at 5 pm with representatives from South Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, Russia, China and Africa, focusing on trade expansion and investment opportunities. Kale further said that the International Business Conclave is being organised by the Association for Industrial Development (AID) and Global Indian Business Forum (GIBF), Delhi.
 
The conclave is expected to host ambassadors and trade representatives from over 23 countries including Russia, China, Brazil, Egypt, Togo, Guyana, Benin, Uruguay, Nigeria, Zambia and Venezuela. This strong international presence will create direct access to global markets for local entrepreneurs. Based on the theme “Empowering Growth”, the expo will highlight Vidarbha as a strong and emerging industrial growth hub on India’s industrial map. Local and Vidarbha-based entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to engage directly with international delegates and explore avenues to introduce their products to global markets. AID President Kale also appealed to entrepreneurs to make the most of this unique opportunity.
