A high-level meeting of Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUDCO) and Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company’s was held at Company’s corporate headquarters Shakti Bhawan, on Monday.
HUDCO, CMD, Sanjay Kulshreshtha chaired the meeting while MP Transco, Managing Director Sunil Tiwari, Chief Financial Officer Mukul Mehrotra and other senior officials were present.
During the meeting, a review was conducted of the utilisation and progress of financial assistance received from HUDCO. Detailed discussions were held on strengthening the transmission network in the State, expansion of substations and transmission lines, grid integration of renewable energy, and meeting the future growth in electricity demand.
MP Transco Managing Director Sunil Tiwari apprised
the committee of the company’s future plans, including Tariff Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB), open access framework, and implementation of cost-effective, timely, and high-quality projects. Chief Financial Officer Mukul Mehrotra shared details regarding company’s financial position and its current and future loan requirements. HUDCO Chairman Kulshreshtha lauded the work being carried out by MP Transco and assured continued financial aid for power transmission and infrastructure projects in the future. Both organisations agreed to further strengthen mutual cooperation. The high-level meeting also included Dr Tripti Mishra Dixit, Regional Head (Madhya Pradesh), HUDCO and Anand Soni, Joint General Manager, HUDCO Bhopal.
