Prof Galhotra nominated Memberof Institute Body of AIIMS Jammu

 

 

MINISTRY of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India New Delhi has nominated Prof (Dr) Abhiruchi Galhotra, Department of Community and Family Medicine & Dean (Research), AIIMS Raipur as Member of the Institute Body of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jammu. The Institute Body is the statutory body is responsible for the overall regulation, management, and strategic direction of the institute, focusing on medical education, research, patient care, and establishing policies, working with specialised committees like the Governing Body (GB) and Finance Committee for specific functions like academic standards, finances, and selections. The nomination of Dr Galhotra to this prestigious body is a recognition of her academic leadership, administrative acumen, and significant contributions to medical education and institutional development.

 

Lt Gen Ashok Jindal,(Retd), Executive Director and CEO AIIMS Raipur has congratulated Dr Abhiruchi Galhotra on this distinguished assignment and wishes her success for the new responsibilities. It may be noted that two other faculty Prof (Dr) Eli Mohapatra, Head (Biochemistry) &Dean (Academics) and Prof (Dr) Nighat Hussian, Department of Pathology & Associate Dean have already been nominated as Member of Institutional Body of AIIMS Guwahati and AIIMS Patna respectively.
