Hailing the Union Budget 2026-27 presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav said that various provisions in the budget will help us to take State’s economic and social sector growth to next level. Extending gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister, he said that this is the twelfth budget under PM Modi’s guidance, emphasising structural reforms to enhance ease of doing business.
As we are focussing on women and youth empowerment, there is hostels to support professional women commuting for work, alongside targets to train 150,000 women service providers with incentives of one lakh rupees each to boost their employment. These measures embody the principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, extending to rural women’s leadership, special entrepreneurship, and community support groups such as Lakhpati Didis, with comprehensive arrangements in place.
“Leveraging technology, promoting digital investment and creating jobs for our youth. most important there is good share for progress of women”. He was addressing the press conference along with BJP State President Hemant Khandelwal. Mentioning his recent discussion with the Prime Minister in Gujarat on semiconductors, affirming that the Semiconductor Mission 2.0 and related initiatives will advance high-tech industries, attract more digital investment in MP, provide opportunities for innovation, and technology entrepreneurship in the state, while also benefiting existing industries through modernisation support. At the same inclusion of innovations and start-ups, which will bolster the knowledge economy and generate high-value employment. As the State have potential in IT, tourism, health, and education, the budget will give a push to these sectors.
It is inclusive as there is ample consideration for every class, empowering the poor also in fact it is welfare oriented. In long term it is towards Viksit Bharat consolidating country’s position globally in long term. Nodoubt state is going to be benefited to a great extent, leveraging resources for sustained growth and fulfilling public aspirations.
Various provisions to tourism and industrial sector like biopharma, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and health will create atmosphere for economic growth and create more jobs.
