THE third edition of ‘Advantage Vidarbha 2026 – Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav’, being organised by the Association for Industrial Development (AID), will be inaugurated on February 6, 2026 at 10 am at
the Rashtrasant Tukdoji
Maharaj Nagpur University Campus, Ambazari–Amravati Road, Nagpur.
The inaugural ceremony will be presided over by Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, Chief Patron of the Khasdar Audyogik Mahotsav, while Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will attend as the chief guest. This was stated by Ashish Kale, President of AID while talking at a press conference on Wednesday. Secretary of AID, Dr Vijaykumar Sharma, Sanjay Gupta, Prof. Rajesh Bagdi, Rajesh Rokde, Shivkumar Rao, Ashok Goyal, Mahesh Sadhwani, Anup Khandewar, Rina Sinha and executive members were present at the meeting.
Kale further said that three MoUs will be signed on the first day of the event. Also, several eminent dignitaries will be present, including Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Maharashtra Revenue Minister; Aakash Fundkar, Minister for Employment; Ashish Jaiswal, Minister of State for Finance; Pankaj Bhoyar, Minister of State for Education; and Indranil Naik, Minister of State for Industry and Tourism.
Leading industrialists from across the country will also participate in the event. Prominent among them are Balasubramaniam Prabhakaran, MD of Lloyds Metals and Energy Ltd; Jeet Adani, Director – Airports, Adani Group; and Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director of M&M. Jean Touboul, CEO and MD of Pernod Ricard India, Dr Anbalagan, Secretary, Industries Energy and Labour; Koustub Dhavse, Advisor to CM, Investment, Industries and Technology, Kale said.
