Gohar, Ansari record wins

 

 

 

GOHAR Football Club and Ansari Football Club recorded wins in the JSW-NDFA Senior Division Football Championship on Wednesday. With a 39th minute strike from Saquib, Gohar pipped Eagle Football Club 1-0. Bilal was the only man to be cautioned during the match. Including an own goal, Ansari got the better of Lawrence Football Club 2-0. Yash Peter’s 55th minute own goal gave Ansari 1-0 lead. Praham Ganvir made it 2-0 in 78th minute. In First Division matches, Chandrashekhar FC and Ansar Sporting Club registered huge victories.

 

With two first half and an equal number of goals in the second half, Chandrashekhar blanked Xcite Play 4-0. Farhan Ansari’s brace in 9th and 16th minutes gave the team a healthy 2-0 lead. Banty Ali (73rd) and Farhan Ali (79th) fired in one each late in the game for the final verdict. Ansar Ansari and Xcite’s Zaid Khan were shown the yellow card. Farhan (26th, 56th and 62nd) netted a hat-trick while Jasim (22nd, 43rd) scored twice as Ansar Sporting thumped Orange Sport Gurukul 5-0.
