A wedding ceremony at Mada village turned into a crime scene late on Tuesday night. The incident caused tension and a scene of mourning within the local community. Sunil Chaudhary, a 30-year-old resident of Hinotiya village under the Barela police station jurisdiction, had traveled to Mada to attend a relative's wedding. According to witness, the victim was participating in the wedding procession (Baraat) when he was suddenly confronted by unidentified assailants. In a brutal escalation, the attackers reportedly stabbed Sunil approximately half a dozen times, causing him to collapse at the scene.

 

Following the attack, Sunil was rushed in critical condition to a medical facility. Despite emergency efforts, medical professionals declared him deceased upon arrival. The Patan police have officially registered a case of murder against the unidentified individuals and initiated preliminary investigations. Police officials have assured the family of the deceased that the perpetrators will be identified and apprehended shortly.
