Bhopal Railway Division has emerged as one of the top performers at 70th Rail Week Special Railway Service Awards, clinching a total of five efficiency shields in recognition of its excellence in inter-divisional ticket checking, public relations, signal and telecommunication operations, scrap management, and construction projects. The prestigious ceremony, held at West Central Railway headquarters in Jabalpur, also saw three officers and 11 employees from Bhopal division being honoured with the Special Railway Service Award for their exceptional dedication and contribution to railway operations. The awards were presented by WCR General Manager Shobhana Bandopadhyay, who acknowledged the efforts of staff from Bhopal, Kota, and Jabalpur divisions, various workshops, and headquarters departments.

 

Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Bhopal Pankaj Tyagi congratulated the awardees and encouraged the division’s staff to maintain high standards and aim for even greater achievements in the coming years. “These awards reflect not only individual commitment but the collective efficiency of the Bhopal division,” he said. Senior officials and a large number of Railway employees from the Bhopal division, including Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Saurabh Kataria, attended the ceremony celebrating the recognition of their colleagues’ efficiency and hard work.
