Finally, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the results of UGC-NET December 2025 exam in 86 subjects and this year, apart from some major subjects, UGC-NET cut off has dropped in all of the subjects. In Chhattisgarh too, a large number of candidates in English, Home Science, Education, Hindi and History have qualified in all three categories (JRF, Assistant Professor and PhD only). But in commerce, political science, psychology and sociology, due to high cut off, only a handful
of candidates in State have succeeded to qualify all three categories. It may be noted here that, around 8,000 candidates across Chhattisgarh had appeared in UGC-NET December 2025 exam
at 24 out of 86 subjects and as per sources, over 550 students have managed to qualify the examination but maximum in third category of PhD only.
In Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor Categories, only 150 candidates from State cleared the examination.
