SWARA Hiwse of Rising Sprinters Club won a silver medal in the Maharashtra State Sub-Junior Athletics Championship underway at Kopargaon. The meet is being organised by Ahmednagar District Athletics Association under the auspices of the Maharashtra Athletics Association at SSGM College, Kopargaon, informs Dr Sharad Suryawanshi, Secretary, Nagpur District Athletics Association. In the girls Under-12 300m race, Swara won silver medal with a timing of 46.64 seconds. Nagpur’s Lavanya Shendra finished fourth. Swara practices under NIS coach Shamsher Khan.
