CITY’S para shuttler Abhishek Shalya is set to represent Maharashtra at the 7th National Para Badminton Championship to be held at the Heartfulness Gopichand Badminton Academy, Kanha Shanti Vanam, Telangana. Abhishek’s selection is based on his excellent performance in the State-Level Para Badminton Tournament. Abhishek is a player of Shuttlers Craze Sports Academy and trains at Mankapur Stadium under the guidance of BWF Certified Coach Chetak Khedikar and Syeed Anwar Ansari. Abhishek expressed gratitude to his coaches, parents and WCL authorities for their constant support and encouragement.
