AS PART of activities marking International Women’s Day, a health check-up camp was organised for women railway employees at the Divisional Railway Manager’s (DRM) office in Bhopal on Tuesday. The camp was conducted by the Divisional Railway Hospital under the supervision of Ajay Dogra and Vijay Singh.
During the camp, 77 women employees of the railways underwent medical examinations. Doctors carried out basic health screenings including blood pressure, blood sugar, haemoglobin tests and general health assessments.
Medical experts also provided counselling on preventive healthcare and advised participants to adopt a healthy lifestyle and undergo regular health check-ups.
The initiative aimed at promoting awareness about women’s health among railway staff. Officials of the West Central Railway said such programmes are being organised to encourage health awareness and ensure better healthcare support for women employees and their families in the Bhopal division.
