Assuring citizens over the availability of cooking gas, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday said people need not worry about LPG supplies as adequate stock of LPG along with petrol and diesel is available across Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister said that the State Government has issued clear directions to district administrations to ensure smooth and uninterrupted supply of cooking gas across all regions. Officials have been instructed to maintain regular monitoring of stock levels at LPG agencies and keep a close watch on the supply mechanism so that distribution remains stable and responsive to public demand. Sai said district authorities have also been asked to coordinate closely with LPG distributors and continuously review stock positions to prevent any disruption in supply. The government, he said, is maintaining constant oversight of the fuel supply network to ensure that households across the State receive cooking gas without inconvenience.

Taking a firm stand against malpractice, the Chief Minister directed officials to ensure strict action if complaints related to black marketing, hoarding or irregularities in LPG distribution are reported anywhere in the State. He said any attempt to manipulate supply or exploit consumers would invite stringent action under the law. Appealing to citizens to remain calm, Sai urged people not to pay attention to rumours regarding cooking gas shortages. He advised consumers to book LPG cylinders only according to their genuine requirement so that the supply chain remains balanced and accessible to all households. Reiterating government’s commitment to ensuring availability of essential commodities, Sai said the administration remains fully alert and prepared to take all necessary measures to maintain uninterrupted supply of LPG and other fuels .
