The Department of Physical Education and Sports of Rashtrasant Tukdoji Maharaj Nagpur University (RTMNU) has announced its men and women taekwon-do teams for the All India Inter-University Taekwon-do Championships. While the men competition will be organised by DAV Jalandhar University in Jalandhar, the women’s meet will be conducted by Fakhir Mohan University, Balasur in Odisha. Both the competitions will begin from Saturday.

 

The teams: (Men): Prantik Jamgade, Deep Dhabale, Amul Patle, Om Marshettiwar, Himanshu Chavan, Rudransh Golhar, Vineet Bade, Jagdish Sarangpure, Kritarth Dhande, Aryan Gomse. Tejankit Bhangade (Coach). Dr Santosh Chaudhary (Team Manager). Women: Komal Buradkar (C), Purva Gire, Mahi Sharma, Vidhi Dewangan, Tia Awale, Vijaya Meshram, Simran Phule, Aastha Tomar, Simone Baladhare, Sejal Parteki, Janvi Tichkule, Kritika Mane, Vaishnavi Mankar, Ishita Fender, Nihal Rajput, Bharti Kanoje. Narayan Waghade (Coach). Vice Chancellor Dr Manali Kshirsagar, Registrar Dr Raju Hiwase, In-charge Director of Department of Physical Education and Sports Dr Sambhaji Bhosale, Dr Vivek Awasare, Dr Sanjay Chaudhari, Dr Sarang Khadse, Dr Santosh Chaudhary, Praveen Dhande (NIS Coach) and others congratulated the selected teams and wished them luck for the all India inter-university competitions.
