Kamptee Road, Nagpur successfully organised Poolympics 4.0, an Inter-School Swimming Competition that got huge response.
The competition was conducted for boys and girls in three age categories—Under-10, Under-12 and Under-14. The participants competed in a variety of swimming events, including freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly and relay races covering distances such as 50 metres and 100 metres.
The young swimmers displayed remarkable determination, stamina and enthusiasm throughout the competition.
More than 150 participants from Nagpur and other districts took part in the event, making it a highly competitive and exciting sporting occasion. The atmosphere at the venue was vibrant as the students, teachers and spectators cheered enthusiastically for the participants.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony where the winners were felicitated with medals and
certificates.
Tulika Kedia, President and Pro-Vice Chairperson, Delhi Public School Kamptee Road and MIHAN, Nagpur, joined the programme online along with Savita Jaiswal, Director, and extended her heartfelt wishes to the students, motivating them to strive for excellence.
Dr Jaiprakash Duble, former Joint Director of the Sports Department, Government of Maharashtra; Jayant Duble, international sea swimmer and Amol Raipurkar were prominently present.
Principal Yogeeta Umalkar welcomed the participants and highlighted the importance of sports in building discipline, teamwork and a healthy lifestyle among students.
