Vigyan Bharati Vidarbha honours Padma Shri Satyanarayan Nuwal 
 
“Success depends upon the individual’s mindset. A person with strong willpower and determination will definitely find success in his life,” said Padma Shri Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman, Solar Industries Limited, while sharing the secrets of his phenomenal rise at a felicitation ceremony on Sunday. The programme was organised by Vigyan Bharati (Vibha) Vidarbha Pradesh Mandal at NEERI auditorium to honour Satyanarayan Nuwal. The event celebrated his extraordinary contributions to the Indian explosives industry, defence research, marking his global impact across 70 countries. Speaking on the success of nation, Satyanarayan Nuwal said, “I get disturbed when I see that even the smaller countries such as Sweden, Denmark are more developed than us.
 
Even a small contribution from every citizen of India can transform our country into a developed nation.” It is just not my success but also that of more than 15,000 people associated with me, said Satyanarayan Nuwal, dedicating the award to their efforts. People should not forget the history and tradition taught by our ancestors, adding that citizens of country who forgets the history, their geography would end up inviting danger. Person should follow traditions and rituals which helps them to stay down to earth,” Nuwal added during his speech. The ceremony began with Vibha Prarthana (Prayer). The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including Praveen Ramdas, Sah Sanghatan Mantri, Vibha; Dr Atul Vaidya, President, Vibha Vidarbha; Dr Venkat Mohan, Director, NEERI; and Shree Prasad, Sanghatan Mantri, West Zone, Vibha. A special citation highlighting Nuwal’s visionary leadership and dedication to national service was read by Naresh Chafekar. While congratulating Nuwal, Dr Atul Vaidya said, “I sum up Nuwal’s personality in two words, Simplicity and Simplified. Despite being at such higher position, he manages to stay humble and he is one the most down to earth person I have ever seen. Now you have received Padma Shri but we hope that you receive Bharat Ratna soon.”
 
The programme commenced with a documentary showcasing the ‘Kutuhal’ and Science Festival 2026, followed by the formal felicitation. The event saw a large gathering of more than 200 eminent personalities from Nagpur and the Vidarbha region, including Dr Satish Wate, Shashikant Chaudhary, Atul Pande, Dr Bhimaraya Metri, and Dr Prashant Joshi. The programme was compered by Dr Prakash Itankar, Secretary of Vibha Vidarbha, while Narendra Satfale proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the recitation of Vande Mataram.
