Sensation prevailed in Ranital Sports Complex area when body of an unidentified woman was found under mysterious circumstances on heap of garbage behind BJP Divisional Office, on Sunday morning. Some morning walkers first saw the body and immediately informed the police. Learning about the incident, SHO, Lordganj, Naval Singh Arya along with police team reached the spot and informed the senior officers about the incident. Taking a serious note into the case, ASP Ayush Gupta and CSP Ritesh Kumar Shiv along with FSL team reached the spot and started an investigation. The deceased woman is believed to be between 25 and 30-year-old. Initial findings suggest that the woman may have been murdered and her body was dumped on the garbage.

 

SHO of Lordganj police station, Nawal Singh Arya informed that the woman had deep injury marks on her neck and abdomen caused by a sharp weapon. Investigators have started scanning CCTV footage from nearby areas to gather clues. Police are trying to identify the body to find more information about the incident. The incident came to light on Sunday morning when some people were returning after a morning walk from the nearby stadium. They noticed a group of pigs gathered near a garbage heap and found it suspicious. When they went closer, they found the body of a woman and immediately alerted the police. Lordganj police sent the body for post-mortem after conducting Panchnama while further investigation is underway to identify the deceased.
