Aadi and Ojal bag karate golds

Aadi and Ojal 
 
THE duo of Aadi Bhusari and Ojal Guidadhe won gold medals in Nagpur District (City) Sub-Junior (6-13 years), Cadet (14-15 years) and Junior (16-17 years) Karate Championship for Boys & Girls that was organised at MOD The Fight & Fitness Dojo, Dharampeth recently. The events were conducted as per new version of WKF rules. Aadi and Ojal bagged kata cadet golds. In junior category, Chandrashekhar Mathurkar and Kaonein Syed took home the yellow metal. Other gold medal winners in various categories are as under: Manan Vora, Mohd Syed, Govind Mahadule, Saherish Sheiekh, Shourya Ambilkar, Satyam Sahu, Sanskar Tiwari, Yash Gabhane, Shreya Kerwade, Ayesha Khan, Nishka Dabade.
 
All the winners give credit of their success to their coaches and parents. The event was conducted by officials —Dr Zakir Khan, Emmanuel Philip, Sachin Lohakare along with KAND members Akshay Pathrabe, Sanjay Solanki, Anwar Ali, Kiran Yadav, Rahul Yadav, Avinash Ingole, Shiraz Syed, Aminuddin Sheikh, Shyamsunder Singh, Hritik Mudliar and Sachin Borkar. All the Nagpur City winners will participate in Maharashtra State Sub-Junior Cadet and Junior Championship Karate Championship (Boys & Girls) on May 9-10 at Divisional Sports Complex, Adgoan Naka, Nashik. If the player get selected in Maharashtra State team, they will represent the State in the forthcoming KIO All India Sub-Junior Cadet And Junior Karate Championship for boys & girls in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, from June 4-7.
