The Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal (MAT) has revoked the suspension of three officials, including former Deputy Director (Education) Ulhas Narad, in connection with the alleged ‘Shalarth ID’ scam.
The order was passed by Justice Vinay Joshi. The case relates to the issuance of a ‘Shalarth ID’ to Parag Pudke for the post of Headmaster at Nanaji Pudke School in Devtala village of Bhandara district.
The ID was allegedly obtained using forged and bogus documents. Following the registration of the criminal case, the Government suspended then-Deputy Director (Education) Ulhas Narad in April 2025. Sanjay Bodhadkar and Senior Clerk Suraj Naik also were placed under suspension.
