The City Congress Committee held a grand torchlight procession on Saturday night to protest the NEET paper leak. The march was organised on the call of the State Congress Committee. A large number of Congress leaders, workers, youth, students and general public participated in the event. The procession started from Russell Chowk and concluded at Rajiv Gandhi Chowk. Congress workers raised strong slogans against the central government and the examination system throughout the march. Leaders demanded strict action against those responsible for the paper leak. They also demanded a transparent and fair examination system for students.

Congress leaders said the party will continue its fight from the streets to Parliament to protect the future of youth. Addressing the gathering, senior party leaders said the NEET paper leak has shaken the trust of students and parents across the country. Lakhs of hardworking students have been cheated, they said. Senior Congress leaders, office bearers of city and rural units, Youth Congress, NSUI and a large number of workers were present on the occasion. The procession concluded with a pledge to protect students' interests and demand a clean examination system.
