FAIZAN Pathan, Manisha Madavi, Mohit Neware, Sakshi Ghatole, Ajay Sonkusare and Komal Thakre will be bestowed with the District Krida Ratna Kho Kho award for their impressive sporting performance by the Amateur Kho Kho Association of Nagpur District at Mahila Mahavidyalaya in Nandanwan on May 21. Katol’s Faizan, who has represented the country and Nagpur’s Manisha were selected from the Senior Group. Mohit of Katol and Ladgaon’s Sakshi will win the award from the Junior Group. Ajay of Gosewadi and Ladgaon’s Komal are the winners from the Under-14 (kids) category. “All the winners will get richer by Rs 5000 each,” informed Anup Kharade, president of the district association during a press conference on Saturday.

 

Nagpur Mayor Neeta Thakre will be the chief guest on this occasion. MLA Pravin Datke and MLC Sanjay Bhende will also be present. The programme will be headed by Dr Babanrao Taywade, President of Sacchidanand Education Society. Salil Deshmukh, Ravindra Fadnavis and Sudhir Nimbalkar will grace the occasion.
