THE inaugural invitational swimming competition organised by Vidarbha Cricket Association Recreation Club for its members evoked tremendous response. The event, which catered to various age groups ranging from 10 years to Masters saw members competing in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly categories. Winners were recognised with medals, certificates and vouchers provided by VCA Recreation Club. Dr Roma Sarnaik was the chief guest of the prize distribution function.

 

VCA Recreation Club announced that the swimming championship will now become an annual fixture on the club’s sporting calendar. RESULTS: Freestyle Girls 10-15 years: PaavaniKhedkar.
