Shakti Sthapana Diwas (SSD) was celebrated with great enthusiasm by Pratibha Shakti, the Vidarbha unit of National Shakti, the women’s wing of Vijnana Bharati. Vice Chancellor of Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University (LITU) Dr Atul Vaidya was the chief guest. Expressing his views, Dr Atul Vaidya appreciated the impactful initiatives of Pratibha Shakti and stressed the importance of empowering rural and underprivileged women. An insightful overview of National Shakti was presented by Dr Arti Shanware, President, Pratibha Shakti, while Dr Surekha Kalkar, Secretary, highlighted the unit’s key activities and achievements.

 

Dr Sudha Tiwari, National President, Shakti, was honoured on the occasion. Shakti Prerna Sanmaan, the prestigious award was conferred upon Aradhana Tathe in recognition of her inspiring journey from a biotechnology scholar to a successful entrepreneur, nutritionist, and counsellor. The Swa Shakti Sahayog Award was conferred upon Sara Sachin Velankiwar. Dr Bhavna Deshpande gave opening remarks. Shakti Prarthana led by Dr Vaishali Deo was presented. The dignitaries were introduced by Dr Punita Tiwari. Dr Sudha Tiwari also spoke on the occasion. Dr Saroj Desai proposed the formal vote of thanks.
