A joint team from Bhilai Charoda Municipal Corporation and Old Bhilai Police Station on Monday demolished the house of a man accused of raping a 4-year-old minor girl. The joint team reached the spot in village Puraina where the accused and his family had constructed a house by encroaching upon government land.

 

With the help of a JCB, the team bulldozed the illegally built house and seized the belongings of the house. Police informed that it had arrested Puraina resident Kishore Chouhan alias Cheta few days ago on charges of beating and raping a minor girl.
