MARKING the first anniversary of ‘Operation Sindoor,’ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday paid rich tributes to the unparalleled bravery, courage and valour of the Indian Armed Forces, stating that the operation symbolised the resolute spirit, fearless determination and decisive strength of ‘New India.’
Recalling the grim circumstances that led to the operation, the Chief Minister said that exactly one year ago, the barbaric terrorist attack carried out by cross-border terrorists in Pahalgam had shaken the conscience of the entire nation.
However, India’s resolute response through ‘Operation Sindoor’ not only neutralised the challenge effectively but also scripted a golden chapter of courage and national resolve in the country’s history.
In a message posted on his social media platform ‘X’, Sai asserted that the operation sent a strong and unequivocal message to the world that “New India” would no longer tolerate
terrorism under any circumstances. He said India is no longer a nation that merely endures provocations silently, but one that possesses both the
capability and determination to give a befitting and decisive reply to every hostile act directed against the nation.
The CM observed that ‘Operation Sindoor’ immortalised the indomitable courage, extraordinary strategic acumen and unwavering commitment of Indian soldiers towards safeguarding
the nation. He said the precision, determination and formidable military capability with which the forces dismantled terror networks and their handlers have further strengthened India’s image as a powerful and decisive nation on the global stage.
Sai further stated that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s policy of “zero tolerance” towards terrorism has moved beyond rhetoric and has been firmly implemented on the ground. He said the combined strength of the Indian Armed Forces, cutting-edge military technology and an increasingly self-reliant defence ecosystem has demonstrated that India no longer remains confined to reactive measures, but is fully prepared to undertake decisive and effective counter-action whenever required. Paying heartfelt homage on the occasion, the Chief Minister remembered all brave soldiers whose supreme sacrifice, gallantry and patriotism continue to inspire every Indian citizen and uphold the pride of the nation. He also paid tribute to the tourists who lost their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.
Sai said the courage, patriotism and spirit of sacrifice displayed by the Indian Army will forever remain a source of inspiration for generations to come and continue to strengthen the spirit of national unity and pride across the country.
