Areeb scores four goals in Porwal’s 7-0 win over DDYS Academy n Sports Reporter PORWAL Football Academy and Sankalp Football Academy boys teams made it to the semi-finals of Under-13 Late CM Sahani NDFA Youth Football Championship in contrasting styles on Sunday. While Porwal Academy thrashed DDYS Academy 7-0, Sankalp Academy edged past South West Blue Academy 2-1. In the first quarter-final, Porwal players were all over DDYS Academy. Mohamamad Areeb (4th, 8th 25th, 43rd) struck four goals while Mohamamad Abuzar (39th, 41st) scored a brace. Afi Ur Rehman’s 53rd minute strike made it 7-0. The second quarter-final was a closely fought match. Both Sankalp Academy and South West Blue Academy played well to keep the score 0-0 at the half-time.

 

After resumption, Tanush Najbile (31st) gave Sankalp 1-0 lead and Ayan Majumdar (40th) doubled it before South West’ Abdul Rehman pulled one back in the 42nd minute. Nobel thump Sankalp 5-0 In the Under-15 Boys Late Dada Mitra NDFA Youth Football Championship underway at NDFA ground in Suyog Nagar, Nobel Sports Academy thumped Sankalp Sports Academy 5-0 on Sunday. Nobel’s Hashir Ansari scored first goal of the match in the 13th minute. Om Dhangar made it 2-0 in the 15th minute. Ansari completed his brace in the 23rd minute as the team took a commanding 3-0 lead at the breather. In the second half, Ved Baghel (39th) and Avesh Khandelkar (49th) added one each to complete the rout.
