Annamrita Foundation inaugurates automatic idli-making machine

At The Late Smt. Swarnalata & Late Shri Govind Dasji Sarraf (Tumsarwale) Centralised Kitchen of Annamrita Foundation, located on Bharatwada Road, Ramanuj Nagar, Nagpur, an automatic idli-making machine donated by Western Coalfields Limited (WCL) under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative was inaugurated by Reena Hemant Pandey, President of the Jhankar Mahila Mandal. The machine has the capacity to produce 2,000 idlis per hour, significantly strengthening the foundation’s ability to prepare nutritious and hygienic meals on a large scale. It will further accelerate Annamrita Foundation’s efforts to provide high-quality meals to school children.
 
The programme commenced with the darshan and worship of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balaram, and Devi Subhadra. This was followed by the floral welcome of the chief guest, Reena Hemant Pandey, along with Dr Archana Kumari and Shruti Paranjpe, Vice Presidents of Jhankar Mahila Mandal. The chief guest was welcomed by Dr Shyamsunder Sharma, Chairman and Project Director of Annamrita Foundation, Nagpur and Vidarbha. The Vice Presidents were welcomed by Rajendra Raman, Project Director and Regional Manager, and Bhagirath Das, Project Director of Annamrita Foundation. Following the welcome ceremony, the automatic idli-making machine was ceremonially worshipped and formally inaugurated amidst Vedic chanting. The event was attended by Dr Archana Kumari and Shruti Paranjpe, Vice Presidents of Jhankar Mahila Mandal; Rashmi Agrawal from the Pench/Kanhan Area; Hemlata Thakre from the Ballarpur Area; Rekha Prasad from the Umred Area; Vasudha Prasad from the Majri Area; other members of Jhankar Mahila Mandal; and office-bearers and members of Sangini Kala Manch and Mayuri Kala Niketan Society.
