The installation ceremony of the new Executive Committee of the Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing of Vidarbha Industries Association (VIA LEW) for the year 2026–27 was held at the MIDC Hall, opposite VIA. In the programme, Yogita Deshmukh was unanimously re-elected as the Chairperson, while Poonam Gupta was elected as the Secretary of VIA LEW for the year 2026–27. The newly elected Executive Committee members included Shikha Khare, Vice Chairperson, Amandeep Kaur Sehemi, Joint Secretary, Tejal Rakshamwar, Treasurer, Minal Dawande, Joint Treasurer, Shrigauri Ghahate, PRO, Disha Dumbhre, Joint PRO and Indu Kshirsagar, EC Member.

 

Apart from this, Sarala Kamdar, Founder Chairperson, Prafullata Rode, Sarita Pawar and Madhubala Singh as Advisory Committee members and Rashmi Kulkarni, Immediate Past Chairperson were present. The Past Chairpersons included Chitra Parate, Y Ramani, Neelam Bowade, Anjali Gupta, Dr Anita Rao, Vandana Sharma, Shachi Mallick, Reeta Lanjewar, Manisha Bawankar and Poonam Lala. In her welcome address, Yogita Deshmukh reflected on her journey as Chairperson over the past year and highlighted various initiatives undertaken by VIA LEW to strengthen existing women entrepreneurs while inspiring aspiring entrepreneurs to pursue their business ambitions. Kaushal Mohta, Secretary, VIA, announced the names of the newly elected Executive Committee and appreciated the remarkable growth and achievements of the Lady Entrepreneurs’ Wing since its inception. Poonam Gupta, Secretary of VIA LEW, proposed the vote of thanks and expressed thanks to all the participants. The programme was attended in large numbers by VIA LEW members, women entrepreneurs, and start-up founders.
