ON THE occasion of International MSME Day, the ICAI Nagpur Branch (WIRC) successfully organised an MSME Clinic at ICAI Bhawan, Dhantoli, recently. The programme was conducted as part of a nationwide initiative organised across various ICAI branches under the aegis of the Committee for MSMEs and Start-ups of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI). Chairperson CA Swaroopa Wazalwar underlined the importance of MSMEs as engines of inclusive growth and employment. She reiterated the branch’s commitment to empowering the MSME sector through knowledge-sharing initiatives.

The MSME Clinic received an enthusiastic response, with more than 60 MSME entrepreneurs and business owners participating to seek professional guidance on a wide range of issues relating to cash flow management, GST compliances, Management Information Systems (MIS), banking matters, and various departmental concerns. The expert panel comprised CA Nitin Alshi, CA Deepak Jethwani, Vice Chairman, ICAI Nagpur Branch (WIRC); and CA Vinod Vijay Agrawal, Treasurer, ICAI Nagpur Branch (WIRC). The panelists provided one-to-one consultations, patiently addressing the participants queries and offering practical, solution-oriented guidance. The MSME business owners appreciated the initiative, with their concerns being resolved to their satisfaction. The clinic provided MSMEs with an excellent opportunity to interact directly with experienced CAs and receive expert advice on financial planning, statutory compliances, taxation, banking, and business management. The participants welcomed the initiative and expressed the need for such interactive clinics to be organised regularly. The ICAI Nagpur Branch (WIRC) continues to play a proactive role in empowering MSMEs through professional guidance, capacity building, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
